The Sheba Medical Center (SMC), Israel's major hospital, has made a commitment to clinical excellence, based on a strong research and development foundation, by investing in professional human resources, infrastructure and facilities. SMC supplies its staff with an optimal work environment to maximize their clinical as well as R&D products. SMC excellence is well known in Israel and throughout the globe.
THM has been established as a non-profit organization and "company for the benefit of the public" to promote the transfer of SMC technologies, innovations and professional know-how for society's use and benefit, and for the development of the medical and healthcare fields. All resources generated by THS are used to support research and education in SMC. THM operates via two branches, the Technology Transfer branch (TT) deals with aspects of technology transfer for Intellectual Property (IP) created by SMC. The International branch deals with the commercialization of the SMC management and staff's know-how in topics related to health policy and the development of healthcare systems and facilities.
THM Management
THM management is comprised of SMC' executives as well as leading executives from Israel's industrial, legal and accounting fields; all of whom have a deep understanding and knowledge of the relevant fields.
The Technology Transfer arm of THM

THM's Business and development activities, as well as its intellectual property unit, are generating a strong project portfolio and developing a licensing strategy for each particular technology, and the services to facilitate its development and commercialization.

THM is responsible for transferring SMC's (Israel's leading center of medical services and medical research), technology to the global market. SMC activities span the wide spectrum of contemporary medical science. THM holds an exclusive agreement with the Center for the marketing and commercialization of new developments emerging from the Center's innovative research and services.

Training and education
Because of our especially well-equipped facilities and top level academic staff at SMC, we are able to offer many unique training programs, such as:
* MSR - the world's most comprehensive medical simulation center. It constructs and operates both Low-tech and Hi-tech simulation scenarios for training individuals and teams. All scenarios are filmed and then reviewed with the trainees. New and individualized scenarios can be developed and adapted to special needs and implemented either in our facilities or in the client's.
* On the job training in the various medical fields and professions.
* Mentoring and on-going consultations for the administration and management staffs of new facilities via on/off-line transfer of relevant data, auditing processes and progress monitoring, as well as active participation, through long-distance meetings and periodic site visits.
* Theoretical courses in Healthcare administration and management Managers, Administrators, and Professionals.

S.I. consultation experience varies from educational plans to "turn-key" projects. Among these are:

Training and Education:
S.I. conducts training programs for international students. This activity is based on the accumulated experience of the Sheba Medical Center which is the major academic clinical site for the Tel-Aviv Medical School.
The Sheba campus hosts an academic nursing school that provides on-site training.
International Medical students, Residents and fellows are able to receive the best and most up to date medical knowledge and practical experience available. Courses are offered concerning the various aspects of healthcare administration, such as: management, logistics, economics, accounting, human resources, and information technology.
Courses are formulated and tailored to the client's needs and are presented by our highly qualified staff. Courses can take place on our campus at Tel-Hashomer as well as abroad.
