Prof. Ehud Schwammental, chief of cardiac rehabilitation at Sheba, has invented a cardiac valve prosthesis that was recently sold by his start-up company, Ventor Technologies, to medical instruments giant Medtronics for over $300 million. The Sheba Medical Center received a percentage of the royalties.
