More than 200 people packed the Schloss Bellevue (official residence of the German president) in Berlin for the German Friends of Sheba annual dinner in January, hosted by Eva Luise Koehler, the German First Lady and the Honorary President of Sheba Friends in Germany. Her husband, German President Prof. Dr. Horst Koehler even participated in the evening's charity auction, buying a piece of Israeli art for his personal collection. Mrs. Koehler will be the guest of honor at the Sheba Israel Friends annual dinner in Tel Aviv in late April.
