Pituitary Tumors

This is the largest center in Israel for pituitary tumor surgery.  Most patients are operated through a Transnasal Transsphenoidal approach. 

120 operations are performed annually on a wide referral base through out Israel and neighboring countries.  There is a growing experience in the application of intra-operative MRI for pituitary surgery.
Operative and endocrinological results in two series of Acromrgaly and Cushing disease were published recently in "Neurosurgery".
