Cerebrovascular Service Unit

One hundred and twenty patients with Cerebral Aneurysms, Arterio Venous Malformations (AVM), and other vascular lesions are annually treated by open surgery and endovascular approaches.  Post-operative intensive care is given in the Neuro ICU.

 

Modern diagnostic and surgical methods are used as well as advanced intensive post-operative treatment. The service is a referral center for patients throughout Israel.  The team performs outpatient evaluation of patients with vascular diseases of the brain and spinal cord and treats emergency cases.
