Just as in pediatric medicine, pediatric imaging requires expertise in performing and interpreting examinations on children and infants. At the Safra Children's Hospital, one can find Israel's second largest pediatric imaging unit.

· Aviva Ben Shlush, M.D. - Senior Radiologist
· Jeffrey M. Jacobson, M.D. - Senior Radiologist
· Lisa Raviv Zilka, M.D. - Senior Radiologist, Director of Pediatric MR
· Haviv Dok, RT - Head Technologist of the Pediatric Imaging Unit
· Shoshi Hizkiyahu - Unit manager
· Margalit Weinberg, R.N. - Sedation Nurse
Located adjacent to the Department of Pediatric Emergency Medicine, the Pediatric Imaging Unit performs all types of plain films (regular x-rays), ultrasound examinations, and fluoroscopy on infants and children, serving all pediatric wards, specialty clinics and, of course, the emergency department.
This website contains basic explanations of the exams performed in our section with accompanying illustrations and even some video clips.
The drawings and video clips are for illustrative purposes only.
