Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer (SMC), the largest and most comprehensive hospital in Israel and the Middle East, hereby offers clinical training programs for physicians and other health professional. Non-clinical and Administrative training programs for healthcare professionals and managers are also available.

The programs vary from full scale residency programs for physicians lasting 4.5 - 7 years to short 1-3 month clinical observation programs.

Programs for Physicians

1. Full scale official Israeli residency programs (all clinical specialties and sub-specialties)

Fees: US$60,000/trainee/year including food and accommodations (a 1 bedroom apartment*)

2. Fellowship programs (all specialties)

3. Short clinical training programs (all fields)
   1. 1-10 months
   2. Bedside training
   3. Theoretical training
   4. Combined bedside and theoretical training

In these programs the trainee joins one or more of the clinical departments and units according to his/her needs and wishes. The trainee will attend all departmental clinical activities and will have an access to all adjacent hospital facilities.

Fees: US$ 5,500/trainee/month including food and accommodations (2/room*)

4. M.S.R. Medical Simulation programs
   1. Existing clinical programs (List is available upon request)
   2. Adapted clinical programs - Such programs will be prepared according to the special needs of the trainees
   3. M.S.R. programs can be incorporated with other clinical training program (items 1-3)

5. A general post-graduate updating program - 6 - 12 months, groups (up to 30 nurses).

7. Advanced training in nursing management

A special course for nurses in senior managerial positions, for single trainees or small groups; courses lasting. 2 - 6 months.

3. Hospital level management for nurses.

A program for Senior Managers and Administrators

This is a top-level program for top executives and policy makers in healthcare facilities and delivery systems. The program is flexible and is adapted individually to the needs of the trainees. Senior managers of SMC will take part in the training; courses last 1 - 12 months (individual training).
