Sheba launches a nationwide emergency center dedicated to psychological care
Qualified psychologists and psychiatrists from Sheba are available online to offer treatment to both adults and children.
Following the emotional distress stemming from the events of October 7th, Sheba has set up a nationwide emergency center to provide free online mental health support and guidance to the general public, including soldiers and the young people who attended the music festival in the south.
Treatment, which is suitable for adults and children alike, is provided by Sheba psychologists and psychiatrists specializing in trauma, anxiety, wartime and terror-related psychological care. Early intervention during wartime can help prevent the development of post-traumatic stress disorder and other damaging psychological consequences. Whether you have been directly or indirectly exposed to the effects of war, the treatment will be tailored to your situation and level of trauma exposure.
Kindly be aware that our center is not intended to handle acute emergency cases. However, our center is dedicated to scheduling consultations and short-term sessions offering effective coping strategies during wartime.
