New in Health Basket: Innovative Test for Lung Cancer Diagnosis
Innovative test, co-developed by Sheba and TAU, uses AI to enable early detection
A cutting-edge screening test for the early detection of lung cancer has been added to the Health Basket for 2025, offering new hope for patients.
The CT-AI test was developed by the Imaging Institute at Sheba Medical Center in collaboration with Tel Aviv University and is used for the early diagnosis of lung cancer. This innovative test uses artificial intelligence to create high-quality CT images while significantly reducing radiation exposure compared to traditional methods.
Sheba is preparing to conduct tests on patients from within Sheba and external medical facilities.
Early Detection Saves Lives
Lung cancer remains a leading health concern, with smoking and advanced age being the primary risk factors.
