The liver disease center

The liver disease center  in Sheba, is one of the largest centers for liver diseases in Israel. The center is a multidisciplinary excellence center in hepatology.  

The center operates according to an innovative concept that incorporates under the same roof the most advanced treatment modalities, teaching activities and basic research. Prof. Ziv Ben Ari the director of the center,  is also serving as the chairwoman of the Israeli Association for the Study of the Liver.

The center staff includes the best experts in hepatology: very well experienced hepatologists, nurses, technicians and laboratory  team who are taking care of thousands of patients each year.  

It is a center of attraction for young fellows nationwide and from abroad and a prosperous site for innovative basic research in hepatology .

The center includes a day care and laboratory services that serves as reference point nationaly and internationaly.
