Sheba Ranks Among World’s Top Smart Hospitals as Specialty Wards Receive Acclaimed Recognition
Sheba Medical Center, Israel’s largest hospital, was recognized today among the best medical centers in the world, ranking 13th on Newsweek’s “World’s Smartest Hospitals for 2023” list. Additionally, Sheba’s cardiology, neurosurgery and gastroenterology specialty wards were all within the top 50 in Newsweek’s ranking of best hospitals by medical specialization.

Newsweek’s Smart Hospital rankings, produced together with Statista, include evaluation of candidate hospitals by senior officials in the digital and information fields, a peer survey of directors and experts in the field of smart hospitals, and an international survey of senior professionals in the field. The specialty ward rankings include an international peer survey of over 40,000 specialists, professionals and hospital directors from more than 20 countries around the world, evaluation by world-renowned medical experts, and patient reports of medical treatment satisfaction.
