The Laboratory Division consists of dozens of service and research labs specializing in various fields: Clinical Biochemistry, Hematology and Hemostasis, Bacteriology, Virology, Pathology, Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology, Blood Bank and Transfusion Medicine, Male Fertility, In Vitro Fertilization, Neuroimmunology, Infectology, Microbiology, Endocrinology, Tissue Typing, Human Genetics, Hemodynamics and Urgent Tests.
The Laboratory Division acts to promote professional excellence and the use of the world's most advanced and recommended technologies in the medical laboratory industry. Most of the Division's diagnostic labs are certified by the Israel Laboratory Accreditation authority under the unique standard for medical laboratories - ISO 15189. The laboratories offer a wide variety of tests certified by the Israel Laboratory Accreditation Authority. Certified testing is a prerequisite for many clinical trials and the various labs offer such a service. In addition, the Division consists of several ISO 9001-2008 labs.
