Return from Captivity: Or Levi and Eli Sharaabi Arrive at Sheba
The two ex-hostages receiving care at a specialized facility designed offering complete privacy
Sheba Medical Center welcomed Or Levi and Eli Sharaabi yesterday (February 8th), as the two freed hostages were reunited with their families. They arrived by helicopter at Sheba, following 491 days of captivity in Gaza under extremely harsh conditions, after being kidnapped on October 7th.
The two are now staying in a specially designed facility at Sheba established for returning hostages. The facility was designed based on the experience gained from treating previous returnees and was created to meet all the emotional and physical needs of the patients.
Like those released before them, Levi and Sharabi are undergoing comprehensive medical evaluations at Sheba to assess their health. They are also receiving dedicated care from expert teams specializing in medical, psychological, and emotional rehabilitation. Both the returnees and their families are supported around the clock in a nurturing, home-like environment, with strict measures in place to ensure their privacy is fully respected.
