Clalit Health Fund members can now receive treatments at Sheba

Good news for Clalit members residing in Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Yehud, Or Yehuda, and Kiryat Ono

01-05-2025

In September 2023, Clalit made the decision to restrict members of its Dan-Petah Tikva district from automatically selecting Sheba Medical Center for medical services. However, this restriction has now been eased. Clalit members residing in Ramat Gan, Givatayim, Yehud, Or Yehuda, and Kiryat Ono can once again access healthcare at one of the world’s leading hospitals.

Scheduling appointments at the Safra Children’s Hospital at Sheba Medical Center is expected to become easier for local residents. From now on, they will be able to choose and undergo treatments and medical procedures with high availability in fields such as gastroenterology, ENT (including ear tube surgeries), and hyperhidrosis surgeries.

These easing of restrictions are added to those implemented over a year ago, allowing all Clalit members across the country to receive treatment at Sheba in the following fields: oncology, childbirth, fertility treatments, gynecological surgeries, neurosurgical procedures, and additional areas.

If you’re insured and reached out to Clalit Health Services for a referral (Form 17) for treatment at Sheba but were denied, don’t worry. You’re welcome to contact the Sheba Rights Center for assistance >>
