The Edmond and Lily Safra Children's Hospital at Sheba Medical Center Draw Together with the Best Painters and Sculptors

ARTISTS' HAPPENING

In a unique cooperative effort, the best artists of the union of artists and sculptors Ramat Gan - Givatayim came  to The Edmond and Lily Safra Children's Hospital at Sheba Medical Center to create pictures and sculptures together with the hospitalized children of the hemato-oncology unit.

The painters and sculptors brought with them all the necessary equipment for the event. Each painter and sculptor donated a work from his collection for sale in addition to the picture jointly produced on the day of the event. At the end of the day, the children's pictures were hung in the hospital's corridors.

According to Professor Ze'ev Rotstein, the hospital's director: "The staff of the Edmond and Lily Safra Children's Hospital sees it as their duty not only to treat the illness but also to improve the morale of the children hospitalized and to bring a smile to their faces."

The event took place in the  Garden of the Senses at Sheba's the Edmond and Lily Safra Children's Hospital.
