The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) today decided to extend its military field hospital's stay in Haiti for one month, necessitating a call for significant reinforcements in material, medical supplies and personnel.
The Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer is gearing up to provide much of this support. Six senior members of the Sheba Medical Center already are in Haiti, assisting in the international relief and rescue effort.
