American Friends Gala Dinner

The American Friends of Sheba held its annual gala dinner in New York City in December. One million dollars was raised for Sheba's Institute for the Research and Treatment of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Ziel Feldman was awarded the annual Global Special Ambassador Award, and David E. Ash was awarded Sheba's Annual Humanitarian Award.

The renowned architect Daniel Libeskind (who is designing the PTSD center) and CEO Sheba Prof. Zeev Rotstein held an open discussion of hospital plans and aspirations, moderated by Dr. David Samadi of New York's Mt. Sinai Hospital.
