ReWalk - 5 minute film

12-05-2013

The quasi-robotic device called "ReWalk" helps many disabled paraplegics walk again. Developed by Argo Medical Technologies, the revolutionary devise is undergoing extensive clinical testing by doctors and patients at the Sheba Medical Center's Rehabilitation Hospital. The ReWalk robotic suit has advanced motion sensors and on-board computers which, in conjunction with the user's crutches and input signals, allow people previously confined to wheelchairs to walk upright. Dr. Gabi Zeilig, the head of the neurological rehabilitation department, is overseeing the clinical trials.
