Saving Lives and Winning Hearts in Nigeria

Dr. Dudi Mishali, director of pediatric cardiac surgery at the Sheba Medical Center in Israel, led a team of 11 cardiac surgeons and  nurses from the Sheba Medical Center and from Rambam and Naharia hospitals, on a humanitarian medical mission to rural Nigeria. Over four days in September, they successfully conducted ten complicated surgeries on patients with congenital heart defects, ranging in age from two months to 20 years old. This film describes their emotional and inspiring journey.
