This year again, as every year, Sheba heads the list of outstanding physicians prepared by "Forbes" magazine. Out of 611 leading doctors in Israel (in 35 specialties), 128 are from Sheba (21% of the list)! Forbes magazine publishes the prestigious list of the best doctors in Israel for the second year. This is a continuation of the project initiated by Ma'ariv newspaper under the title "The Bests" and has been published for ten years in a row.

'Forbes' editors turned to thousands of physicians in Israel to hear their professional opinions about leading colleagues. All doctors who agreed to participate in the project recommended prominent and outstanding doctors in their field, but not in their own sub- specialties. In addition, every doctor recommended colleagues who do not belong to the medical institution where they work.

Forbes : "The  611 doctors who are listed in the current  list display leading professional levels by any standard  as well as high human skills levels , and have been recommended by a very high percentage of their colleagues across the country . Some of them are saving the lives of patients daily, others improve the lives of patients beyond expectation - all are listed for a unique reason: They are the best doctors in Israel". Sheba's excellence is highly reflected in gynecology. Out of 41 outstanding doctors and physicians across the country, 19 work at Sheba, and they constitute 46% of the best gynecologists in Israel!

Another Sheba pride is the fact that four outstanding young doctors are members of the prestigious "Talpiot Program" at Sheba: Prof. Yossi Haiek(Plastics and Burns); Dr. Michal Yalon (Pediatric Hemato-Oncology) , Prof. Boaz Weiss and Prof.  Mazaki - Tovi (Gynecology) and Professor Guy Ben-Simon (Eyes).
