Newly enlarged High Risk Pregnancy Department opens
Sheba Medical Center is doing even more to help expectant mothers complete the pregnancy journey in health, comfort and safety. The newly enlarged High Risk Pregnancy Department combines the best medical treatment available with the highest level of personal care.
Expectant mothers are each assigned their own nurse to manage their case. The staff on the ward include trained midwives as well as gynecological nurses and specialist doctors to provide care for all aspects of a high risk pregnancy.
This level of professional excellence has made Sheba Medical Center the hospital of choice for high risk pregnancies, with cases being referred to Sheba from around the country.
The High Risk Pregnancy Department is part of the Josef Buchmann Gynecology and Maternity Center. Center Director, Prof. Eyal Schiff, is proud of the newly enlarged high risk department and explains its significance: “As the leading facility for high risk pregnancies in Israel, we receive the most complex cases. Now we will be able to provide the same high level of treatment to even more women.”
