Delegation from Denmark Has Inspirational Visit to Sheba

A delegation of prominent business leaders from Denmark, led by Danish Minister of Industry, Business & Financial Affairs, Brian Mikkelsen, and Danish Ambassador to Israel, Charlotte Slente, were given an eye-opening tour of Sheba Medical Center’s various facilities by Sheba’s Director General, Prof. Yitshak Kreiss. 

The delegation, which is interested in establishing business and research ties with Sheba, was also given an insider’s look at Sheba Medical Center’s various medical technology innovation tracks by Dr. Eyal Zimlichman, Deputy Director General, Chief Medical Officer and Chief Innovation, and Dr. Nathalie Bloch, who will helm the new Innovation Center. “We aspire to change the future of medicine through our ‘Start Up: Nation,’ innovations using our talented staff as a foundation,” said Prof. Kreiss.

After touring the medical center’s facilities and watching the presentation with great interest, Minister Mikkelsen said, “We came to Sheba Medical Center so we could see how we can cooperate in different fields and be inspired. And I can say that we have all been inspired and motivated by what we have seen.”
