The 13th benefit gala of the Sheba Medical Center took place again at the luxury Carlton Hotel in St. Moritz. This year it was a very special event: Sheba Medical Center celebrated it’s 70th anniversary together with the State of Israel. Both were created in the same year – 1948 – when Israel became an independent State.
This exquisite and successful evening, honoring the memory of the late benefactor, Karl-Heinz Kipp, was made possible through the generous, ongoing support of the owners of the Carlton Hotel, long-standing friends of Sheba, the families Kipp and Bechtolsheimer.
The event committee was headed by Dr. Ellen Ringier, and co-chaired by Renate Graefin von Rehbinder.
Illustrious guests from industry, society, culture, art and show business enjoyed a briefing delivered by Prof. Yitshak Kreiss, Director General of the Sheba Medical Center.
