Sheba is Going to Tokyo

Sheba has been tabbed by Israel's Paralympics Committee to help train and rehabilitate the nation's Paralympic athletes ahead of the Tokyo Paralympic Games, which will be held right after the Summer Olympic Games in Japan, from Aug. 25-Sept. 6, 2020. Sheba features one of the most sophisticated rehabilitation and physiotherapy facilities in the world.  Dr. Gal Dubnov-Raz, who heads the Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation Unit at Sheba will work directly with the athletes to prepare them for the various skill sessions at the games.

"These athletes are an amazing inspiration for all of us and I plan to be in Tokyo to see them raise the flag when they win medals," avowed Prof. Yitshak Kreiss, Director General of Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer.
