Record Breaking Attendance & Generosity at Annual Gala
It was truly an evening to remember, as over 1100 guests from Israel, North America and around the world participated in Sheba's 71st anniversary annual gala under the stars.
The participants were treated to a potpourri of fine cuisine and great entertainment, led by Netta Barzilai (winner of Eurovision 2018 contest), Gidi Gov and Danny Sanderson, as well as spectacular late Spring weather. Director General, Prof. Yitshak Kreiss lauded the hospital's achievements during the past year, including being recognized by NEWSWEEK magazine as one of the Top 10 Hospitals in the World. He added, "I want to thank everyone who participated in this record-breaking year and record-breaking event. It is a tribute to our dedicated medical professionals and our generous donors who have played an integral role in making us one of the Top 10 Hospitals in the World and motivates us to move up the list in 2020." Over $1.3 million dollars was raised at the Gala, with proceeds going towards strengthening the Sheba Mental Health Services , the only one of its kind in Israel.
