Dr. Ari Leshno is a fellowship-trained glaucoma physician at the Goldshleger Eye Institute, Sheba Medical Center, and a Clinical Senior Lecturer of Ophthalmology at Tel-Aviv University. Past co-director of the Glaucoma Center Innovation and Research Lab between and a member of the Talpiot Leadership Program. Research focuses on understating structure-function relationships in glaucoma to improve glaucoma detection and management. The principal investigator of several innovation projects, such as the development of a designated reminder app to improve adherence among glaucoma patients and the utilization of thermal imaging modalities in clinical practice. Registered two patents for medical devices, including a novel non-invasive preventive treatment for secondary glaucoma using acoustic waves.
