Research Interests
Our lab investigates Primary Immunodeficiencies (PIDs)/ Inborn Errors of Immunity (IEI) through translational research: from bed to bench and back with. We focus on discovering and charechterizing novel genetic immune disorders and understanding T and B cell functions in adaptive immunity. A key component of our work involves developing and implementing newborn screening programs for Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID), enabling early detection and intervention.
