Prof. Dan Carter is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Tel Aviv University Sackler Medical School. He graduated his medical studies with honours in the Rappoport Medical Faculty in the Technion-institue of technology, Haifa, Israel in 1995. He is the director of the neurogastroenterlogy and pelvic floor service. He previously acted as the head of the gastroenterology medical service at the IDF medical corps and the chief GI consultant to the medical corps surgeon general.
Currently Prof. Carter acts as the head of the educational committee of the International Bowel Ultrasound (IBUS) group and member of the steering committee.
Prof. Carter’s research interests span two major areas: medical imaging (especially intestinal and pelvic ultrasound) and neurogastroenterology.
