Dr. Itzchak Levy

Dr. Itzchak Levy, born in 1957, received his M.D. degree in 1987 from the Medical School at the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.  Since 1994 he has been the director of the HIV/AIDS Center at Sheba.  He is also a supervisor in the Infectious Disease Institute at Sheba.  Dr. Levy is a medical supervisor for the Israeli AIDS Task Force.  He is the chief medical editor of the Israeli Health Portal: http://www.informed.co.il His special interests are: HIV/AIDS among special populations (prevention, diagnosis and treatment), compliance to medical treatment and adherence to drug therapy among HIV/AIDS patients, medical psychology and medical communication.
