Our endocrinology laboratory team carries out a diverse range of routine and unique endocrine tests, using advanced technologies in the field. We are certified by the National Laboratory Accreditation Authority and meet the requirements of the international standard for medical laboratories ISO-15189.
Our lab offers services to departments, clinics, and external entities like the IDF, hospitals, health insurance funds, private labs, academia, research institutions, and pharmaceutical companies.
The heads of the laboratory are responsible for coordinating the forum of directors of endocrine laboratories in Israel. This platform serves as a mechanism for collectively making national decisions on matters relating to endocrine laboratory work.
Research
In addition to our routine clinical work, our endocrine laboratory conducts extensive clinical research across various fields of endocrinology. These studies are done in collaboration with our clinical research unit team, together with doctors in pediatric endocrinology, professionals from the general and rehabilitation hospital, as well as academic researchers, and other hospitals.
In our institute's laboratories, both the clinical laboratory and the research laboratory, we engage in basic research pertaining to diabetes, obesity, and metabolism.
The laboratory is known for its pioneering work in developing innovative methods and tests, and has established itself as a national hub for these cutting-edge examinations.
