Dr. Erik Baltaxe treats sleep apnea and sleep disordered breathing in COPD patients with chronic respiratory failure, Obesity Hypoventilation Syndrome, restrictive diseases of the chest and neuromuscular diseases (ALS, Duchenne, myotonic dystrophy and myasthenia gravis). He initiates and follows non-invasive ventilation in complex and chronic patients. In addition, he is a partner in European and international studies (including the Horizon 2020 initiatives that deals with remote medicine for chronic patients).
