Dr. Eva Platner is Vice Chair, Vitreo-Retinal specialist and a senior retina and cataract surgeon at the Goldschleger Eye Institute. She performs vitreous and retina surgeries for a variety of retinal diseases including Epiretinal Membrane, Macular Hole, Vitreous Hemorrhage, Retinal Detachment repair, and Diabetes complications. She also treats a range of eye diseases including Age-related Macular degeneration, Diabetic complications, and Retinal Vein Occlusions, etc.
She performs combined cataract and retina surgeries as well as standalone cataract surgeries including complicated Cataract surgeries and Intra-Ocular Lens fixation, intraocular injections, YAG laser treatments, and argon laser treatments for the retina.
Dr. Platner participates in clinical research on Age-related Macular Degeneration, Retinal Vein Occlusions, Diabetic complications, Retinal Detachment surgeries, macular surgeries and more.
