The Pediatric Department B is dedicated to taking care of children from Israel and around the world. As part of their hospital stay, we conduct thorough investigations, provide diagnoses, and offer treatments for various complex pediatric conditions. Our core values revolve around providing compassionate and devoted care, fostering teamwork, adopting a comprehensive approach to patients and their families, striving for excellence, maintaining professionalism, and ensuring safety.

Our department's staff provides comprehensive medical care for a diverse range of conditions, encompassing burns, eating disorders, genetic and metabolic diseases, and more. Our multi-professional team consists of expert doctors specializing in pediatrics, highly trained nurses, clinical pharmacologists, physical therapists, occupational therapists, dieticians, psychosocial and educational professionals, as well as auxiliary personnel.

To ensure children’s wellbeing during their hospital stay, we work closely with the hospital's educational staff to emotionally prepare them for both simple and complex procedures. Additionally, procedures that may cause discomfort, such as burn treatments, are performed under sedation (topical anesthesia).

Medical Education: Our department is dedicated to training and educating medical students, pediatrics interns, and our nursing staff who represent the future generation in pediatrics.

Research: Our department’s staff actively engage in clinical and basic research to enhance knowledge in the field of pediatrics. The main research areas within the department include genetics, kidney diseases, rheumatological diseases, and more.
