The Hemato-Oncological Division

In the Hemato-oncology Department, our specialists treat a diverse range of hematological malignancies, such as acute myeloid, lymphocytic, and chronic leukaemia, myeloma, lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndrome, and myeloproliferative disorders. These treatments are administered by leading doctors in the field, who are experts in the most advanced and innovative therapeutic approaches. Our team of doctors is assisted in their diagnoses by the most accomplished molecular hematology laboratories in Israel and Sheba’s leading pathology institute. Our labs are certified by the Ministry of Health, JCI; JACIE; FACT/NETCORD; AABB.

Patients are supported by a highly skilled and experienced care team that includes psychologists, social workers, and therapists specialising in complementary medicine.

Patients who have exhausted conventional treatment options are now being offered access to immunological and cellular therapies via clinical trials that have received Helsinki Committee approval. At the forefront of these advanced treatments is CAR T-Cell therapy. The Sheba Cancer Center has accumulated tremendous experience in providing these treatments, and our team of experts is renowned worldwide, actively contributing to leading committees, drafting position papers and recommendations on CAR T-Cell therapy, and sharing insights at top conferences.
