Prof. Ido Didi Fabian serves as a consultant ocular oncologist and is the founder and director of SHEBA Global Ophthalmology at Sheba Medical Center. He also founded and heads the ocular oncology services in Soroka and Bnai-Zion Hospitals in Israel periphery. Prof. Fabian is affiliated to the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, UK, and is the principal investigator of the Retinoblastoma Network. He founded and leads the Global Retinoblastoma Study Group, initiated the Rb-NET MDT Project, co-founded the Asian Retinoblastoma Group, and is the initiator and organizer of the first ISOO AFRICA Congress (Mombasa, Kenya). In 2023, he founded Sheba Global Ophthalmology that aims to give hope without boundaries to patients with visual and eye disorders mainly in low- and middle-income countries.
