Dr. Uri practices in three main areas:
- Supportive (palliative) care for oncologic patients as well as for patients with life-threatening chronic diseases (heart failure, chronic lung disease, kidney failure), which means accompanying the patients throughout their illness journey, while assisting in complex decisions making, advanced directives, symptoms management, and when necessary referring to other partners in the unit to provide the best care.
- Counseling and accompaniment for patients with head and neck tumors, with a complex medical background.
- Treatment of endocrine problems unique to oncologic patients, related to cancer or complications related to the oncologic treatments.
