Parking at Sheba
Visiting Sheba, the City of Health, by car or taxi? Entry is 30 NIS per day (24 hours), and you can come and go as you please, as long as it's the same vehicle. If you're here for a quick visit, up to 30 minutes is free, provided you use the same gate for entry and exit. A monthly pass costs 494 NIS.

Parking Lots at Sheba
The Central Parking Lot – Mecak Hazomet – Level 11 and above is reserved parking for patients only
● Cancer Center Parking Lot – Level 3 and above, parking reserved for oncology patients only
● Heart Center Parking Lot (temporarily closed)
● Gynecology and Maternity Center Parking Lot
● Shai Lev Medical Recovery Hotel Parking Lot
● Rehabilitation Center Parking Lot
● Magen David Adom (MDA) Parking Lot
● Eye Center Parking Lot
● Water Reservoir Parking Lot
● Outpatient Clinics Parking Lot

Additionally, there are three parking areas located in the following places:
● West of the South Gate and the helicopter landing pad
● East of the South Gate (the entrance to the previous South Gate)
● Adjacent to the area of closed parking lots (opposite the entrance to the previous South Gate)

How do you pay for parking?
For the sake of environmental sustainability goals, we've stopped issuing parking tickets. This means you won't receive a ticket when you enter the car park.
Parking payment can be made in two ways:
1. At the designated payment stations listed below. Enter your vehicle number and make the payment. Payments can be made with a credit card or via the Pango payment app.
2. At the exit stations from Sheba, the parking system will automatically record the vehicle's number and indicate the amount to be paid. Payment is by credit card only.

● Cancer Center - in the recreation center (Floor 1) and in the parking lot
● Hospitalization Tower - in the main entrance hall and next to the taxi offices

● Central Parking Lot (Mercaz Hazomet) - on Floor 0 next to the elevators and on Floor 4 in the Mercaz Hazomet mall
● Edmond and Lily Safra Children's Hospital - in the main entrance hall
● Eye Institute - in the main entrance hall
● Ear, Nose, and Throat Institute - in the main entrance hall, in the parking bay in front of the main entrance
● MDA Parking Lot, in the middle

Who is exempt from payment?
Payment exemption is allowed for a single vehicle only. The following is a direct quote from section 5.3 of the Ministry of Health's circular on the management of parking facilities at medical centers:
● Entering and exiting within 30 minutes, for any purpose. (In Sheba, there is a special permit according to which entry and exit must be made through the same gate).
● Ambulatory dialysis patients, oncology patients (during treatment), and their companions.
● Outpatients who must visit the medical center for treatment for at least a month, with a frequency of at least twice a week, starting from the beginning of treatment.
● Parents of premature infants who are hospitalized.
● Family members of patients hospitalized for more than 14 days are exempt starting from the 15th day of hospitalization.
● Disabled individuals with a disabled parking permit or a wheelchair tag.
● Public transport (taxi or ambulance) collecting or transporting patients.
● Military vehicle on duty, driven by a soldier in uniform.
● Family members of a hospitalized soldier, as per the attached request approval from the RM2 unit.
● Ministry of Health employees with appropriate certifications.
● Approved organizations and volunteer groups that transport patients for treatment at the medical center, as authorized by the center's management.
● Families, subject to the recommendations of the medical center’s social service.
● Others, as per the decision of the medical center's director.
How do you apply for an exemption?
Please visit the Parking Office located in the central parking lot on floor 4. Our office is open for visitors from Sunday to Thursday, 8:00 to 12:30.
● To request a parking exemption in the Sheba app, simply go to your personal area and click on "Request for Parking Exemption". Remember to attach proof of your hospitalisation or treatment.
