At Pediatric Department A, we offer medical care and support to patients from infancy to 18 years old, as well as older adults under our department's supervision. Our dedicated team, comprising doctors, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, art and music therapists, physiotherapists, psychologists, and professional teachers, prioritizes therapeutic excellence with compassion. We are committed to providing comprehensive care for a wide range of diseases, ensuring the wellbeing of our diverse patients.
In the pediatric ward, we deliver high-quality medical treatment while addressing the emotional needs of the child and their family. Our goal is to create a warm and supportive atmosphere, where comfort and care come first. We firmly believe parents are vital in their child's journey to recovery, and, accordingly, we offer guidance and support every step of the way. Parental presence and active involvement play a crucial role in alleviating a child's anxiety and cultivating a strong bond with our team.
Our department admits children suffering from acute illnesses, such as pneumonia, intestinal inflammations, and ear infections, as well as children with complex chronic diseases during periods of disease exacerbation, such as autoimmune diseases, genetic diseases, epilepsy, immunological diseases, and primary immunodeficiency diseases. We also provide care to patients who have undergone bone marrow transplantation, and children before and after undergoing procedures such as catheterizations, liver and kidney biopsies, and heart surgeries are hospitalized.
Additionally, our department specializes in the treatment of congenital immunodeficiency diseases. We use innovative diagnostic methods, including genetic-based approaches. Our expertise extends to bone marrow transplantation, hematological diseases, chronic lung conditions like cystic fibrosis, chronic intestinal or liver diseases, and congenital inflammatory bowel diseases.
