Identification and characterization of cancer stem cells in pediatric solid tumors, with emphasis on Wilm's tumor.
Recently, our lab has identified markers characterizing the cancer initiating cells in the most common pediatric kidney tumor, Wilm's tumor. My main goal is to further explore this population, define the dysregulated pathways and eventually transform normal renal progenitors into tumor cells.
About me:
I am 25 years old, live in Tel Aviv. I study medicine in Tel Aviv university and after the third year of med school I decided to turn to research and started my PhD studies.
