Research Interests:
My long-term research interests involve the development of a comprehensive understanding of the molecular basis of diseases. Following my PhD completion, I started working as a research associate at the Endocrinology and Diabetes Research Center at Sheba Medical Center where we focus on adipose tissue role in promoting tumor development and growth. We have identified one adipokine as a key mediator of adipocyte-cancer crosstalk. We are currently exploring the specific molecular mechanism(s) of action by which this adipokine promotes tumor growth.
