The Children's Heart Center at the Edmond and Lily Safra Children's Hospital specializes in diagnosing and treating a wide range of heart conditions in fetuses, infants, children, and adults. Our dedicated team is here to support patients with congenital heart defects, congenital and acquired heart diseases, myocardial diseases, heart failure, pulmonary hypertension, arrhythmias, chest pains, difficulty with exertion, unexplained loss of consciousness, and more.

The Children's Heart Center offers a comprehensive range of services, units, and clinics, ensuring that all diagnostic and treatment procedures are conveniently conducted under a single roof. These include:

The Children's Heart Institute, Pediatric Cardiac Surgery Unit, Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, Cardiology Clinics, Enhanced Home Monitoring, Interstage Clinic, Non-Invasive Cardiology Unit, Pediatric cardiac catheterization service, Fetal echocardiography (echo), Arrhythmia Clinic, Adult Congenital Heart Disease Clinic, Heart Transplantation, Cardiogenetics Clinic, Sports and Healthy Lifestyle, Noonan Syndrome Clinic (in collaboration with the Pediatric Endocrinology Unit), Dysautonomia and CCSH Clinics (in collaboration with Respiratory Clinic), Behavioral Genetics Clinic - Williams Syndrome, 22Q (DiGeorge Syndrome) and VCFS (in collaboration with the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Unit), and the Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia service.

The center also has a team of educational-emotional service providers, including a teacher, a learning supporter, and a psychotherapist. They play a vital role in mediating medical procedures, such as preparing children and families for clinic visits, explaining what can be expected, as well as preparing inpatients for blood tests, catheter insertion, imaging tests, and more. The mediation is done in a relaxed atmosphere as much as possible, using unique methods and experiential learning alongside acquiring knowledge about the expected process.

The center's special structure provides optimal conditions for treatment, even in the most challenging cases, while ensuring utmost comfort for patients and their loved ones. The inviting and colourful waiting area features games and TV screens to help create a pleasant and serene atmosphere.

The staff at our center truly understands the impact of a child's heart disease on the family routine. We know the emotional toll, the worry, and the need for special treatment, constant supervision, and frequent hospital visits. That's why, in addition to receiving professional and high-quality care, parents and children are provided with personalized and dedicated treatment, we also offer access to an extensive emotional and practical support system, enabling them to effectively address the challenges they may face.
