Area of Expertise: Valves, Multi Modality in Cardiovascular Imaging
Dr. Sagit Ben Zekry is Imaging Expert including Echocardiography (stress and transesophageal Echo), Cardiac CT and MRI.
Multimodality imaging is a novel approach in cardiology and she is the only physician with that qualification in Tel-Hashomer (there are only few in Israel). Moreover, She is a valvular disease expert with a rich experience in valve clinic. Also, Dr. Ben Zekry invited constantly to present in annual meetings.
Her research focuses on 3D echocardiography, Modeling Mitral valve using 3D echo, mitral valve operations, aortic valve assessment, prosthetic valve assessment. In CT: mitral valve assessment as well as pre procedural assessment, coronary arteries assessment and functional class.
