The Social Service at the Cancer Center
Clinic hours:
Sunday to Thursday, 8:00-15:30
The Cancer Center's social service provides invaluable support to patients and their families throughout their treatment journey. Our dedicated social workers are here to help navigate the challenges of the disease and treatments, providing:
- Emotional support
- Practical assistance in organizing the family
- Training in issues related to parenting
- Information about rights and services in the community
Each clinic at the center has a dedicated social worker available to meet with you. You can arrange a meeting with them at the secretariat. The hospitalization departments also have social workers who are ready to assist you. You can either schedule a meeting directly with them or reach out to the friendly secretary or nurse in charge of the department.
You can find specific information about exercising your medical rights at our volunteer positions in the center (sponsored by our social service) on the welfare and leisure floor on Sundays and Mondays from 09:00-12:00. For additional information about our social service and guidance for social workers, please feel free to reach out to us by phone or email.
