The unit for pediatric lung diseases focuses on providing specialized care for babies, children, and adolescents with various and complex lung conditions:

Asthma - diagnosing, treating, and monitoring patients, as well as providing training on proper inhaler use and monitoring hospitalized individuals.

Allergy - the allergy clinic collaborates closely with the lung disease unit to treat severe asthma, utilizing innovative and biological treatments.

Congenital defects - Diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of babies with congenital respiratory defects, including ALTE. Medical follow-up and nightly (home) monitoring of pulse, oxygenation, and breathing. Follow-up of premature infants with BPD.

Congenital central hypoventilation syndrome (CCHS) is a multi-disciplinary clinic that offers diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and genetic counseling for babies and children with central breathing disorders.

Cystic Fibrosis (CF) clinic provides diagnosis, consultation, follow-up, and comprehensive treatment for CF patients. This includes diagnosis and genetic counseling services.

Dysautonomia (FD) Familial Dysautonomia) - diagnosis, treatment and follow-up by pulmonologists and specialists in dysautonomia: 
Prof. Yonatan Sharabi, specialist in internal medicine and blood pressure; Dr. Tzvia Fay-Karmon, expert in adult neurology, movement disorders and dysautonomia. Patients with familial dysautonomia who suffer from problems in the digestive tract, such as vomiting and food intolerance and need feeding through a gastrostomy. Receive a response in a dedicated clinic in the gastroenterology unit.

Dysautonomia (FD), also known as Familial Dysautonomia - diagnosed, treated, and followed up by pulmonologists and specialists in dysautonomia. These include Prof. Yonatan Sharabi, who specializes in internal medicine and blood pressure, and Dr. Tzvia Fay-Karmon, an expert in adult neurology, movement disorders, and dysautonomia. Patients with Familial Dysautonomia who experience digestive tract issues, like vomiting and food intolerance, and require gastrostomy feeding, receive specialized care at a dedicated clinic within the gastroenterology unit.

Ataxia Telangiectasia (A-T) is a national multidisciplinary clinic that specializes in evaluating and treating patients with A-T. The clinic's team diagnoses, advises, guides, and develops treatment plans for patients. Additionally, it serves as a national registration center for children with A-T.

Follow-up of CF patients after lung transplantation - includes the follow-up and treatment of chronic patients with neuromuscular respiratory disorders from the pediatric rehabilitation department.

Help for Children with Special Needs - a unique clinic in collaboration with the children's gastro team. The clinic offers comprehensive treatment for children with complex conditions, including neurological, pulmonary, and digestive system impairments.

Hemato-oncological patients - follow-up and treatment of hemato-oncological patients with pulmonary involvement.

Disorders performs full sleep tests (polysomnography) to evaluate sleep disorders, obstructive disorders of the upper airways, sleep timing disorders, automatic actions during sleep and evaluation of epilepsy patients during sleep. Also, the institute's staff advises parents on sleeping habits, falling asleep and sleep sequence in babies and small children.

Sleep disorders - The Institute for Sleep Disorders conducts comprehensive sleep tests (polysomnography) to assess various sleep disorders, including obstructive upper airway disorders, sleep timing disorders, sleep-related automatic actions, and evaluation of epilepsy patients during sleep. Additionally, the institute's staff provides guidance to parents on sleep habits, falling asleep, and sleep patterns in infants and young children.
