The Communication Kindergarten cluster comprises a multidisciplinary team of education and care professionals, catering, each year, to a maximum of 32 children aged 3-6 from Ramat Gan who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders. Placement decisions are determined by the municipality's placement and allocation committees.
The educational-therapeutic approach used is social-pragmatic-developmental (SPD). Learning takes place by engaging with the child's developmental stage, closely tied to their experiences "out of context". A personalized educational plan is created for each child, offering a range of treatments that includes individual and group sessions in the areas of language and communication, occupational therapy, emotional therapy, behavioral therapy, physical therapy, and parental guidance.
