The clinic serves cancer survivors who are experiencing physical, emotional, cognitive, or other impairments that significantly impact their quality of life and ability to function.
In Israel, there are around 284,000 amazing cancer survivors. Most of those who recover from the disease return to a normal lifestyle post-treatment. However, some may suffer from a variety of health and emotional chalelnges such as complications of the disease and the treatments, exhaustion, changes in cognitive abilities like thinking, memory and concentration, organizational difficulties, pain, neuropathy, edema, anxiety about the recurrence of the disease and mood swings.
At our clinic, our healing staff engage in empathetic conversations with patients about the difficulties and consequences of the disease on their lives, characterize the possible reasons for this, and after an initial assessment provide treatment recommendations and follow-up plans to improve overall functioning and quality of life.
A special project, in collaboration with the rehabilitation centre, provides a comprehensive and intensive rehabilitation process for eligible patients. The rehabilitation center has a professional and experienced team that combines compassionate therapy with advanced equipment, using internally employed cutting-edge rehabilitation technologies that unique in Israel.
The service we offer is founded upon a multi-team rehabilitation approach which brings together the expertise of doctors, a rehabilitation nurse, physical therapists, occupational therapists, a rehabilitation psychologist, speech therapist, social worker, nutritionist, hydrotherapy therapist and sex counselor.
