Division of Cardiology

The Cardiology system at the Sheba Medical Center is renowned as a leader in Israel and around the globe. Founded in 1952 by the late Prof. Henry Neufeld, it has always prioritized professionalism, innovation, and excellence, while striving for a patient-centered approach for cardiac patients and their families.

In recent years, cardiology has experienced a remarkable revolution in technology and innovation. Nevertheless, we always place the needs of the patient and their family in the centre, ensuring that personal and empathetic care is never compromised. Our skilled and professional nursing team, team of technicians, psychologists and dieticians, are focused on providing optimal care in all areas, even after discharge from the hospital.

The Cardiology Department is a renowned academic institution, affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at Tel Aviv University, and houses numerous clinical and basic research groups that produce high-quality scientific publications.
