Our center specializes in treating patients with spastic movement disorder. Our primary goal is to enhance the function of the affected organ, improve the overall function and quality of life for our patients, and alleviate their suffering. Additionally, we aim to ease the burden on therapists.

First, the patient undergoes a thorough initial assessment by a multi-professional team that includes a doctor specializing in physical medicine and rehabilitation, a physiotherapist, and an occupational therapist.

The assessment comprises a comprehensive examination and inquiry into the function, identifying the challenges in the patient's life that result from the movement disorder. Accordingly, and in agreement with the patient and his family, the treatment plan is determined, taking into account the patient's social situation and support systems.

Our center offers a range of essential services, including  rehabilitation treatments such as physiotherapy and occupational therapy, telerehabilitation, ultrasound-guided botox or phenol injection, controlled experience of baclofen injection (a muscle relaxant drug), clinical follow-up of patients who have undergone implantation of a permanent pump for baclofen infusion into the spinal cord, and diagnosis of gait disorders in a gait laboratory.

The centre also collaborates with a hand clinic, a foot and ankle clinic, as well as the neurosurgery department, specializing in brain and spine surgeries.
