Our clinic treats patients with chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). Our dedicated team conducts various tests including blood count, cytogenetics, chromosomes, FISH, PCR (including quantitative PCR using Taqman), mutation identification, and quantitative assessment of the BCR-ABL gene. Tests are performed at the molecular hematology laboratory in Sheba, which has been certified by the European organization LeukemiaNet.

For treatment, we primarily utilize tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) such as Imatinib, Nilotinib, Dasatinib, Bosutinib, and Ponatinib. Patients in need can also join studies in novel drugs against the T315I mutation, the most severe form of chronic myeloid leukemia, and receive immunotherapy treatments.
