At our unique multidisciplinary centre for chronic pelvic pain and neurophlebology in Israel, we're here to help diagnose and treat women experiencing unexplained chronic pelvic pain or issues stemming from conditions like endometriosis, past pelvic surgeries, pregnancy and childbirth, trauma, or treatments for pelvic area tumours/oncology.

Chronic pelvic pain, defined as pain that lasts more than six months, affects more than 10% of women, approximately 400,000 in number, and around 1% of men. It presents as a lingering pain in the pelvis, genitals, and lower back that often radiates down to the lower limbs.  These pains are often the result of pressure on nerves or damage from various causes. Many women experience this for years, undergoing numerous tests without getting a clear diagnosis.

The Center’s director, Dr. Shlomo Cohen-Eilon, is a gynaecologist and senior surgeon who specialises in neurophysiology (diagnosing pelvic nerve pathologies for treatment and pain relief), and was a resident at a leading medical centre in Switzerland.

The Center's staff collaborates with the Chava Center - Women's Mental Health, the Neuro-Gastroenterology and Pelvic Floor Clinic, and the Urology Clinic.
